Accreditation and Affiliations

The American School of Santo Domingo is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS-CASI) and by the Ministry of Education in the Dominican Republic.

All grades follow the guidelines of the United States standards of education. Furthermore, ninety percent (90%) of students simultaneously comply with the Dominican Republic's education requirements.

This gives our students the option of attending universities in the United States and the Dominican Republic as well as other countries.

The ASSD is also proud to be an affiliate of the National Honor Society.
